Mira Okonkwo
Portrait · Editorial — Lagos, Nigeria
Mira works almost entirely in available light, photographing musicians, tailors and dancers in the neighbourhoods where they grew up. Her portraits are quiet, close and unhurried — the result of long conversations before the first frame is ever made.
